I'm sorry, folks, this is not a fun subject. Nevertheless, it is necessary! The cliche "drain the swamp" sounds cool! It kind of rolls off the tongue when you say it. Remember that the "swamp" consists of 1000's of dedicated, tenured professionals who carry out essential functions such as making our social security payments on time each month, getting the mail delivered promptly, managing Medicare, Medicaid, and many other government functions that make our lives safe and secure.
The country is at a crossroads, and we need to pay attention. So before you jump on the bandwagon to "drain the swamp," Make sure you know what the "swamp" is.
