Good Morning Everyone!

Today the Club PUB discusses issues we face in our attempt to get ahead of global warming. Since Automobile exhaust is the most significant contributor to excess CO2, going electric is essential. 

The push to "locally source" elements needed to create microchips and batteries is essential to break away from dependence on other counties for those critical parts. But, as the article implies, it won't be easy.

Good Morning Everyone! IS IT OVER YET???

Sorry for the shortened Turntable this week. As you can see, I am a bit overwhelmed! However, we had an incredible rally, and I believe we have the pictures to prove it. I'll talk more about that next week.  

Today we attended the Class reunion. I'll get pictures to share of that event. After the reunion, we go to Paul and Karen Bourel's outdoor event. More pictures.  

Next week should be a more exciting offering. See you then!

Good Morning Everyone!

 Hey everyone! Time to get that fall booster. Joan and I got ours on Thursday, September 8th. Easy peasy! Oh, we got the shot at Costco. I believe they will be available at CVS, Walgreens, and all hospitals and clinics this week.  

There won't be enough "initial" doses to serve everyone, so please try to get yours as soon as possible.  

This booster is a 50% mix of the original COVID-19 and 25% each for the Delta 4 & 5 variants. The booster should serve us well through the fall surge (if there is one).

Joan and I have had all Pfizer since the beginning. For this booster, we chose Moderna. It is my understanding that it should provide a little better protection.

We are planning to wait until mid-October to get our flu shots. They provide substantial coverage for about four months, and we want that coverage through January.

Good Morning Everyone!  ​& ​Happy Labor Day!

​We need to "WAKE UP"!    Climate change is accurate, and we cause it! So why can't we accept that we are the cause and must be the solution?   

If you saw the presentation by Al Gore, "AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH," years ago, regarding climate change, you would see those predictions have come true "IN SPADES" since his original presentation. The graph at the end of his presentation is one of the scariest things I have ever seen. 
​"I 've  placed a short excerpt in today's Club PUB."

I have been watching for new records on climate disruptions, which now appear monthly. This month in Pakistan, the word  "Apocalyptic" is being used. Look for that word to be repeated in the coming months all over our country.
