"Teddy Bear" The song was a US number-one hit for Elvis Presley during the summer of 1957, staying at number-one for seven weeks, and his third of the four that he would have that year.  Teddy Bear" would also hit number one on the R&B Best Sellers List, becoming his fourth number one on that chart.  In addition the song would hit number one on the country charts for a single week.
1959
"Mr. Blue" is a popular song  written by DeWayne Blackwell that was a hit for The Fleetwoods, reaching #1 on The Billboard Hot 100 in November 1959 and giving the group its second chart-topping hit of the year.
1960
"El Paso" is a country and western ballad written and originally recorded by Marty Robbins, and first released on Gunfighter Ballads and Trail songs in September 1959. It was released as a single the following month, and became a major hit on both the country and pop music charts, reaching number one in both at the start of 1960. It won the Grammy Award for Best Country & Western Recordings in 1961, and remains Robbins' best-known song.
1958
"Twilight Time" has been recorded by numerous groups over the years. However, the best-known version of the song was recorded by The Platters and became a number one hit on both the pop singles and R&B Best Sellers charts in 1958 in the United States.  The song also reached number three in the United Kingdom.

"Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)" is a traditional Jamaican mento folk song; the best-known version was released by Jamaican-American singer Harry Belafonte in 1956 and later became one of his signature songs. ​
1959
"I'm Gonna Get Married" is a 1959 R&B/pop hit written by Harold Logan and Lloyd Price and recorded by Lloyd Price. The single was his follow-up to "Personality" and, like that entry, "I'm Gonna Get Married" went to number one on the Billboard R&B chart, where it stayed for three consecutive weeks. The single was the last of his four number ones, as well as his fifth Top 40 single, peaking at number three for two weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart.

"Alley Oop"  The Hollywood Argyles,  a short-lived studio band, recorded the song in 1960, and it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100  and #3 on the US R&B chart.  It also went to #24 on the UK chart. 
1958
"At the Hop" is a rock and roll/doo-wop song written by Artie Singer, John Medora, and David White and originally released by Danny & the Juniors.  The song was released in the fall of 1957, and reached number one on the US charts on January 6, 1958, thus becoming one of the top-selling singles of 1958. "At the Hop" also hit number one on the R&B Best Sellers list.  Somewhat more surprisingly, the record reached #3 on the Music Vendor country charts.

"Bye Bye Love" is a popular song written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant and published in 1957. It is best known in a debut recording by the Everly Brothers, issued by Cadence Records. The song reached number 2 on the US Billboard Pop charts and number 1 on the Cash Box Best Selling Record charts. The Everly Brothers version also enjoyed major success as a country song, reaching number 1 in the spring of 1957.The Everlys' "Bye Bye Love" is ranked 210th on Rolling Stone  magazine's list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time"

1959
"Kansas City" is a rhythm and blues song written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller in 1952.  The song became a #1 hit when it was recorded by Wilbert Harrison in 1959. "Kansas City" became one of Leiber and Stoller's "most recorded tunes, with more than three hundred versions, with several appearing in the R&B and pop record charts.
1960
"Stuck on You" is Elvis Presley's  first hit single after his two-year stint in the US Army. He recorded the song during March 1960, and the single was released within weeks and went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in late-April 1960, becoming his first number-one single of the 1960s and thirteenth overall. "Stuck on You" peaked at number six on the R&B chart. The song knocked Percy Faith's "Theme from A Summer Place" from the top spot, ending its nine-week run at number one on the chart. The record reached number three in the UK. ​
1957
"Catch a Falling Star", written by Paul Vance and Lee Pockriss, is a song made famous by Perry Como's hit version, released in 1957. It was Como's last #1 hit, reaching #1 on the Billboard "Most Played by Jockeys" chart but not in the overall top 100, where it reached #2.  It was the first single to receive a gold record certification, on March 14, 1958. The single won Como the 1959 Grammy Award for Best Vocal Performance, Male.

"It's Now or Never" is a ballad recorded by Elvis Presley and published by Gladys Music, Elvis Presley's publishing company, in 1960. It is one of two popular songs based on the Italian song "O Sole mio" (music by Eduardo di Capua), the other being "There's No Tomorrow", recorded by U.S. singer Tony Martin in 1949, which inspired Presley's version. The lyrics were written by Aaron Schroeder and Wally Gold   The single is the second best-selling single by Presley, and one of the best-selling singles of all time.

In May 1959, the song held three positions in the British Top 20, the other two versions being by Marty Wilde and Craig Douglas.  The song is considered one of the greatest songs in rock and roll history.

" is a song recorded by The Elegants. Members Vito Picone and Arthur Venosa co-wrote the lyrics. The music was adapted from "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".  When released as a single in 1958, it topped both the R&B Best Sellers list and the Billboard Hot 100, however, it was the only song that ever charted for The Elegants.
