Good Morning Everyone!

Happy Hanukkah!

Hanukkah–Begins sunset on Sunday November 28, 2021

Thanksgiving was fun but now it is time to move on to the Hanukkah, Christmas season!

I want a Porsche Boxster this year! I probably won't get it. Last year I didn't get a Ferrari and the year before that . . . well you get the picture. I'm pretty sure it's because of COVID-19 with ports tied up. I would sit on Santa's lap and tell him personally what I want but I can't do that either. You know, mall security and all. Anyway, I hope you get what you ask for.

Hey, how about doing me a favor this week. Flip open "The flipSide" and go 4 for 4! The flipSide is playing the best pop music of the 20th century! (I know because I keep track of that stuff). Elton John is a bit on society's fringe but is an epic talent . . . Please!

We're thinking of you guys. We hope the treatments are going well for you, Ken. Everyone wants to pitch in and help. Here is something the club is doing.

The Coachmen are sending you dinners from Schwan's. These are frozen but are "quick fix" meals. Most are completed in the microwave and are ready to go in 5 to 10 minutes. There should be enough to last about two weeks.
  (Note: Joan and I subscribe to Schwan's. The soups are really great)

'FRIENDS FOREVER'

Courthouse PUB

The Rally is now in our rearview mirror. It is safe to say we all had a fun time. You know what they say . . .

"Sometimes, having fun with your best friend is all the therapy you need."

There's no question about it; we are all "Best Friends" and, from a therapeutic standpoint, well "Tuned Up"! However, I wish the rest of the club could have made this rally.

The Coachmen's Turntable - Special Edition - VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

Kenny Chermak

Dear Fellow Coachmen

Our friend, classmate, and fellow Coachmen, Kenny Chermak, has been found to have a malignant tumor on his esophagus that has metastasized.

The diagnosis was conducted at Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo, North Dakota.

A treatment program using Chemotherapy is underway at his home in Battle Lake, MN. Kenny is in good spirits and seems to be handling the treatment well.

Pat is setting up a CaringBridge account where she will communicate Kenny's situation on an ongoing basis. In the meantime, it would be best to send cards directly to his home.

Good Morning Everyone!

Our Coachmen Rally

Left to right - John Harvey, Joan Harvey, Sharon (Prickett) Meany, Dale Sievert, Bob Warrens, John Torrison, Del Torrison, Bob Kattner, and Sharon (Heise) Magnusson at the Courthouse PUB.

   Overview of the day . . . Pictures to follow next week.

We met at the Courthouse Pub at 11:30 AM and had a quick POP before lunch. We stayed and talked until about 2:15 PM. Then we were off to a new Brewhouse PUB just north of the 10th street bridge. Great Place! Great Beer. Then we were off to John and Del Torrison's new apartment on the north side of Manitowoc, near the airport. Really a cool condo! A glass of wine with their compliments, and at 5:45, we left for The Pizza Garden. Yes, the Pizza is just as good as it was over 50 years ago. We left the Pizza Garden at about 7:45 and went back to the Courthouse Pub for Grasshoppers. WOW! Those were great. We stayed till 9:30.

What a day! We took pictures at each of the events. I don't know how many pictures there are, but I'll post them in PICTURESQUE! as soon as they arrive.
