What the heck???

It seems to be a bit crazy to be discussing saving money when the world is going to hell in a handbasket!  COVID 19 - BA2?, Russia invades Ukraine, climate change, severe weather events, and now . . . INFLATION???  "duck and cover" seems to be rather tame in comparison!  RIGHT?

Well, no.  It's been said many times that whenever a problem arises, look for the opportunity. Regarding inflation, there is a HUGE opportunity in i-Bonds!  

I-Bonds are currently getting  6.5% to 7.5% return on your investment up to $10,000 (annual limit).  No taxes on return until you sell, and when you sell, pay only federal tax . . . (state tax-free) on the profit—what a great spot for your emergency fund.
