Brown Mountain Lights? They've been showing up in North Carolina mountains for over 800 years. Lots of old ghost stories have cropped up around them. They've been the study of"National Geographic" and many, amateur photographers and ghost disclaimers. Try as they may they're still trying to explain what makes the glowing spots in the mountain valley. Are they reflections of city lights? Is it some kind of gas coming out of the earth? Reflections from planes? All these have been studied to death but still no real answer. The lights are active even today!
It was the disappearance of a southern trapper. He, one day, went hunting out in the mountains of North Carolina alone, never to return. His faithful and loyal slave, who loved him very much, set out to look for him. Every night. over a period of 13 years he continued to search, until the day he died. They say at night you can still see the old slaves lantern as he continues to search the mountains for his master.
Bigfoot! has been spotted in various wooded areas all over the world. Depending on where he is sighted he's called by different names. Sasquatch, Yeti, Yowie - there are many, many more names for this creature. You'd think if there are that many sightings around the world that someone would have clear evidence either by capture or killing one. So far we have no "conclusive" evidence that Bigfoot exists. So the hunt continues. News folks continue to report various sightings as they come in. Each sighting evaluated based on the credentials of those behind the reports. It's clear that many of these "hunters" are just looking for "fame and fortune" and "lack scientific credibility". Here is one such report. Does it seem credible to you?
