Karen Reibetanz aka "Phoebe"  Welcome Back!  it's played for all our members, but today, it's especially for you!  Welcome Phoebe!
Karen's email address is;      [email protected]      Make sure you add Karen's address to your "Coachmen" group.  Send her a note and say Hi!

Special Note:  Congratulations Sharon (Heise) Magnusson on becoming the first recipient of the Coachmen Kudo award!  An image of the award, a proclamation signed by John Torrison, Coachmen Club President, is attached to this release.

Sick of the snow and cold.  Feeling depressed, suppressed and stomped on?  Well it could always be worse. You need to put this stuff in perspective. . .   "But hey it's cold outside!" . Really? . . . Cold? . . .   Come-on.   Here's something you could really get upset about. Europe 1348 - 1350.  That was the period of the Black Plague.  (Caution: the following youtube selection is not for the faint of heart. . . British humor . .  go figure)  Film by our resident European historian "Monty Python"
Makes "shoveling snow" feel like a real treat right???

What the heck is this world coming to.  Global warming, strife in Ukraine, murders in Kenya, , , , , , and in the US. . . . Hostess Twinkies goes out of business???? . .  What?. . .  We just lost Krispy Kreme! . . . Will this never end???  I think we need some TLC and I know just who can get the job done!
Feel better?  I certainly do!  Hey Dick'o .  Some of the group say the following song belongs to you.  I have no idea why they would say that! Do you?  Well, grab a quart of Kingsbury and check it out.
JL,  Dick'o was a big part of why I slept through study hall, english, history etc. etc. etc. In self defense, and for the record, I wasn't that bad a student in HS.  I remember my Guidance Councilor telling me that I was actually in the top 80% of the class.  As you can see, I was smart and knew where I was going.

Speaking of Guidance Councilors, today schools help students select an appropriate future with "Career Path Day", "talk with the business community day",  "Plan your future day" etc;  we, on the other hand, didn't need all that!  We had "Guidance Councilors"!  I remember one visit I had during the later part of my senior year.

My guidance councilor  asked if I had decided what career path to pursue after graduation.  I said I wanted to become a Scientist and study "micro orgasms"  he said, you mean "micro organisms" right?  I said no I meant "micro orgasms" .  he said what made you think of that?  I said "it wasn't my idea" . . . . . . . . !!!

Till Next Week
