Christmas Parties. You've got to love them. We had our 25th (est.) Christmas Party for the neighborhood last Saturday nite. Everyone attending had their initial series of shots and the booster. I promised them in my initial invitation that if they had gotten their booster shot, they would get a hand full of Halloween candy when the party ended. Since everyone had their booster, I got rid of a lot of Halloween candy. True to form, everyone went for the peanut butter cups and Snickers bars first. (Full disclosure) I did tell them, as they left, that I couldn't remember which Halloween the candy was leftover from.
Christmas parties are a lot of work, but I have to say, a glass of wine and a friendly conversation with close friends makes it all worthwhile. We feel happier now that the Season has been seasoned!
