The moose (North America) or elk (Eurasia), Alces alces is a member of the New World deer subfamily and is the largest and heaviest extant species in the Deer family.
Today Skip releases a story "Of Moose and Men". A story relating to his early beginnings in the State of Alaska Department of Fish and Game. As I read his story I thought about what I was doing at 24. Needless to say NOTHINGAS DANGEROUS OR ADVENTUROUS as Skip was enduring!!!
