CONGRATULATIONS!
Good Morning Everyone!
Well, February is off to a very frosty start. As I write this edition it is Sunday morning. Temp outside is 5 below zero and about an inch of new snow as a hyper gathering of folks from out of town prepare to attend the Super Bowl. I hope they realize how dangerous these temperatures can be. Security will slow the progress of entering the stadium so some will be in line attempting to clear security for a long time.
Do you believe they have Blackhawk Helicopters patrolling the US Bank Stadium and Mall of America? Both are currently "No fly Zones". Thousands of police on the street and on the roads. Good Grief! Even the National Guard is present, loaded rifles strung around their necks and ready for action. Sound a bit like some foreign countries we sometimes visit?
It is rumoured that Jennifer Lopez rented a large home on Lake Minnetonka paying $250,000 for "one nite"! One of our friends know a couple of guys who have an apartment in downtown Minneapolis and rented it for 5 days for $14,000. Tickets for "good seating" sell for north of $15,000 per person. Fifteen hundred private jets are coming in this weekend from all over the world.
I'm reminded that "All good things come to an end" . . . If this is a "good thing" then it can't end soon enough for me!!!
That's a wrap!
Till Next week / be safe and I'll see you on the Turntable!
