                 Howdy Folks!

Have you heard?  They finally discovered what to do with Asian Carp!
Picture
The State Fair, a sure sign that Summer is coming to a close.  Wisconsin State Fair is over.  Minnesota's State Fair is scheduled August 23 through September 3rd.  Point is, if you missed the Asian Carp on a stick there's still a chance to get yours right here in lovely Minnesota!

Think we're all crazy to eat that stuff?  Heck no!!!  It first must be deep fried then dipped in chocolate!  After all, we do have our standards!

Lots of positive responses from the Club this week.  Confirmed for lunch at 11:30AM on September 16th at The Lighthouse Inn in TR are the following:

John & Del Torrison
John & Sharon Magnusson
Bob Kattner
Pete & Donna Christensen
Bob & Glady Warrans
Dick & Marie Neuses
John & Joan Harvey

Gary and Barb Heiman are unable to lunch with us but will be present at the Dedication.

If you plan to attend the dedication and have not responded so far please let us know.

PictureBobby Soxx and the Blue Jeans
"Why Do Lovers Break Each Other's Heart", sometimes shown as "Why Do Lovers Break Each Others Hearts" or "Why Do Lovers (Break Each Other's Heart)", is a pop song written by Phil Spector, Ellie Greenwich and Tony Powers. It was written as a tribute to Frankie Lymon, and was first recorded by Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans. Their version featured lead vocals by Darlene Love, and reached no.38 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1963.[1][2]

The Aquatones
were a doo-wop group in the 1950s that charted just once, with "You", a ballad that was also covered by Gale Storm. The group's lead singer was 17-year-old Lynne Nixon, a soprano who had had formal operatic training.

Larry Hall
(born Lawrence Kendall Hall; June 30, 1940 – September 24, 1997) was an American singer mostly known for his one-hit wonder song called "Sandy" in 1959. The disc reached #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
