| "The All American Boy" is a 1958 talking Blues song written and sung by Bobby Bare, but credited by Fraternity Records to Bill Parsons, with songwriting credit to Bill Parsons and Orville Lunsford. While Bare was in the army, Parsons lip synced the record on TV. The song reached #2 on the Billboard Charts and #22 on British charts. |

In 1959 "Please Mr Sun" reached #11 on the US Charts and #18 on the US R&B Charts. Not quite the same level of popularity as "All in the Game" but a wonderful song nonetheless. Do you remember?
