Hey Herb! Don't have a heart attack. Read carefully. It doesn't say "Naked Waitresses Flirt with You" . . . Just imagine the "Naked Waitress" is Martha! That'll take your blood pressure way down.

                  Julie Andrews

Picture
                                    A Dick Neuses Production
Julie Andrews Turning 79 - this is hysterical!
To commemorate her birthday, actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP.  One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favorite Things' from the legendary movie 'Sound Of Music'.
Here are the lyrics she used:

(Sing It!) - If you sing it, it’s especially hysterical!!!

Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and  handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Cadillacs and cataracts, hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,
Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,
These are a few of my favorite things.

When the pipes leak,
When the bones creak,
When the knees go bad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,
No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,
Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring,
These are a few of my favorite things.

Back pain, confused brains and no need for sinnin',
Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin',
And we won't mention our short shrunken frames,
When we remember our favorite things.

When the joints ache, When the hips break,
When the eyes grow dim,
Then I remember the great life I've had,
And then I don't feel so bad.

>>>>>>>>>>>>> > >>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>
(Ms. Andrews received a standing ovation from the crowd that lasted over four minutes and repeated encores.  Please share Ms. Andrews' clever wit and humor with others who would appreciate it.)

                 Cloverton's Christmas version of Hallelujah

     A JL Production

Cloverton is a contemporary Christian music and worship band from Manhattan, Kansas. The band started out as Lance Stafford on lead vocals and keys with his twin brother Layne Stafford on background vocals and bass guitar, alongside, drummer Kirby LeMoine and lead guitarist Josh Svorinic. This would change in 2015 with Kirby LeMoine's and Josh Svorinic's departure from the band, and the addition of Rains Wall on drums and Connor Giles on guitar.
The band released a successful single in 2011, "Take Me Into the Beautiful" with Fair Trade. This charted on various Christian music songs charts that Billboard publishes. The band would not get to release a full-fledged album with the label, so they crowdfunded, their first debut album, Patterns in 2013. This album did not chart. Their first Christmas extended play, We Sing Joy, charted on three Billboard charts. Their most recent album is Bloom, released September 8, 2017.
