​"Magic" is a 1980 song performed by Olivia Newton-John, from the soundtrack to the film Xanadu. The song was number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks beginning on August 2, 1980. It was her 25th American chart hit, and her 10th of 12 records which went Gold or higher.
"This Is It" is a song by American musician Kenny Loggins. It was released in 1979 as the lead single from his 1979 album Keep the Fire. It reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 17 on the Adult Contemporary chart. "This Is It" was also successful on the soul chart, reaching number 19.[2]

"On the Radio" is a song by American singer and songwriter Donna Summer, released in late-1979 on theCasablanca record label.  It was released as a single and became, in January 1980, her tenth top-ten hit in the U.S. as well as her eighth and final consecutive top 5 single. "On the Radio" peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and number nine on the soul chart.[1] The song was also Summer's fourteenth entry on the Billboard Disco chart, where it peaked at number eight.[2] In Canada, it peaked at number two.[3]
​"Cool Change" is a hit song by Australian rock group Little River Band written by lead singer Glenn Shorrock. It was the second single from their sixth album, First Under the Wire.[1][2][3] Released in August 1979, "Cool Change" did not reach the Australian Kent Music Report Singles Chart top 50.[4] It was released in the United States in 1979 on the Capitol Records label and reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 10 the week of 19 January 1980.[5]

"The Sound of Silence", originally "The Sounds of Silence", is a song by the American music duo Simon & Garfunkel.   ​The song hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending January 1, 1966
"Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind?" is a song written by John Sebastian and first released by his band The Lovin' Spoonful on their 1965 debut album Do You Believe in Magic. It was the second single released from the album and the most successful, reaching #2 on the American Billboard charts on the week of June 11, 1966 ​
"Sloop John B" is a traditional folk song from the Bahamas.  ​Released two months before their 11th studio album Pet Sounds (1966), it served as the lead single for the album, peaking at number 3 in the US and number 2 in the UK. In several other countries, the single was a number one hit.

​"Sara Smile" is a song written and recorded by the American musical duo Hall & Oates. It was released in January 1976 as the second single from their album Daryl Hall & John Oates. The song was the group's first Top 10 hit in the US, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100.
​"Afternoon Delight" is a song recorded by Starland Vocal Band, featuring close harmony and sexually suggestive wordplay. It was written by Bill Danoff, one of the members of the band. It became a #1 U.S. Hot 100single on July 10, 1976.[2] It became a gold record.
"Deep Purple" was the biggest hit written by pianist Peter DeRose.  Donny and Marie Osmond, revived "Deep Purple" in 1975[8] and took it into the Top 20. It peaked at #14 in March 1976[9] on the Billboard Hot 100 
"Convoy" is a 1975 novelty song performed by C. W. McCall (pseudonym of Bill Fries) that became a number-one song on both the country and pop charts in the US. Written by McCall and Chip Davis, the song spent six weeks at number one on the country charts [1] and one week at number one on the pop charts. ​

Debuting at #68 on June 16, 1984, the song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on August 11, 1984, staying there for three weeks
"Karma Chameleon" is a song by English band Culture Club, featured on the group's 1983 album Colour by Numbers. The single spent three weeks at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 in early 1984, becoming the group's biggest hit and only US number-one single among their many top 10 hits. "Karma Chameleon" was also a huge global hit, hitting number one in 16 countries worldwide, and the top 10 in several more. ​
"Stuck on You" is a song written by and originally recorded by Lionel Richie. It was the fourth single released from his second studio album Can't Slow Down released on May 1, 1984, by Motown Records, and achieved chart success, particularly in the U.S. and the UK, where it peaked at number three and number 12, respectively. ​
"Uptown Girl" is a song written and performed by American musician Billy Joel. It was released on September 29, 1983, on his ninth studio album An Innocent Man (1983). The lyrics describe a working-class "downtownman" attempting to woo a wealthy "uptown girl."  It peaked at number three on the BillboardHot 100,[5] and number one in the United Kingdom, staying at that position for five weeks as his only number one hit in the country;
