Welcome Back

Remember Ricky Nelson??  Sorry, but I don't think he is as popular as he used to be.  Just purchased 108 of his songs on iTunes for $5.99.  Is that horrible or what????  I still think he was as close to a teenage "Idol" as we had during those HS years.  Starting in 1952 with "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" to his first releases in 1957  "I'm Walkin" and "A Teenagers Romance"

Eric Hilliard Nelson (May 8, 1940 – December 31, 1985), better known as Ricky Nelson or Rick Nelson, was an American singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and actor, starring alongside his family in the long-running television series The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet (1952–66) as well as co-starring alongside John Wayne and Dean Martin in Howard Hawks's western feature film Rio Bravo (1959). He placed 53 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1957 and 1973, including "Poor Little Fool," which holds the distinction of being the first number one song on Billboard magazine's then newly created Hot 100 chart. He recorded nineteen additional top-ten hits[1] and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on January 21, 1987.[2] In 1996, he was ranked #49 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time.[3] Thanks WIKI
Finally, here's a salute to Pete and Tom . . .  along with all the others who have spent significant time helping our children find the right road in life!  (Coming soon to Bill's list)
Today looks like a BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!   Enjoy it!

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all had a Happy Fathers Day!  I did . . . . I milked every ounce I could out of it.  Joan brought out some coffee for me and I said "You know, something sweet would really go well with this coffee . . . after all . . . it is  . . . . FATHERS DAY!!!!         OK at least I tried.

Joan and I are going to see Bill over the 4th Holiday weekend.  I am putting together a new playlist entitled "Just for Bill" to give him more variety.  The new playlist will have over 50 songs, 10 genres and roughly 50 different artists.  Over half of the playlist will be "new" songs.  Some of which you might recognize.

Here's a more current tune that you might know???
Bill, we'll see in in a couple of weeks!!!

Until then!

Howdy

Not to beat a dead horse (or any horse for that matter) the weather out here in the midwest still sucks!  Rainy, foggy, playing lawnmower roulette.  Our Coachmen friends in Seattle know exactly what we are talking about.  Only so far this year WE have had more fog and rain than they have!! . . .  this is not a distinction we want!  But in keeping with the weather (I am not a weatherman) here are a couple of selections from Bill's list.

Enough!!!  There are only 11 days left of spring.  HERE COMES SUMMER!!!!!!
Hope things are going well for you Bill.  See you all next week!
