Hi Everyone!

Well another week has past.  I was just looking at current temperatures in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Here's what I found

Minneapolis   21  -  Has anyone told you guys it's MARCH . . . LATE MARCH at that!  What the heck happened to GLOBAL WARMING!!!
Green Bay   23
Mequon   27
Appleton   27
Milwaukee   25

Well if we can't BE WARM at least we can THINK WARM! It's time for the Beach Boys.  This first one should warm things up a bit!
We need to think positive and generate Good Vibrations.  Here's a little story about this song.  Brian Wilson recounted the genesis of the title "Good Vibrations" in his 1995 biopic, I Just Wasn't Made for These Times, and at other times. When he was a child, his mother told him that dogs could pick up "vibrations" from people, so that the dog would bark at "bad vibrations".[6] Wilson turned this into the general idea of vibrations (and Mike Love putting "good" in front of vibrations), anddeveloped the idea of people being able to do the same with emotions.  (thanks Wik)  Well here we go!

Well Bill I hope you are staying warm.  It was nice listening with you today . . .  see you next week!!

Finally . .  I don't care how cold it is we can still have Fun Fun Fun!!!!!

Hi Everyone!

Been watching the local papers up north and it does not look good. Snow all over the place.  It seems to be one of our "regular" winters. Don't mean to exclude you guys on the west coast but I'm pretty sure you're OK with it?

By the way . . .  Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!  Bill - Hope you got to chug a Green Beer or two . . . I'm pretty sure a few of our friends did!

Sooooo,  considering all the snow and St. Pat's day . . . I thought it might be good to play some GREEN music!  I'm pretty sure we can all identify with this first one.  "Green Grass"
This next tune really makes me think back to our junior year in high school when a new guy came to town.  Dick Burns showed up about the same time this next tune became really popular - He was driving a 1949 Grey Merc Coupe.  The drivers door had been ripped off and he had replaced it with a door he picked up at a salvage yard.  He never got around to painting it.  It was green!
Now let's talk about something we all are looking forward to.  WARM WEATHER!!!  Spring is here!!!  That means the sun is migrating north and will melt all that nasty snow!  Even when the temp is in the 20's that sun will melt snow.  So get ready . . .  "Here comes the Sun"

Bill, I hope this weeks release cheers you up and finds you doing well.  We're all thinking about you.

Looks like Minnesota and Wisconsin are continuing to get pounded!  What's going on?  Last year Joan and I left MN on Mar 20th and it was 80 degrees. We were looking at grass and the trees were budding.  Crazy!  For now it's looking more like Christmas up there.  Sooooo . . Here is one of Bill's favorites

In the meantime all we can do is "Take Five"  relax and enjoy the scenery.  This is the "Extended Version"  of Dave Brubeck's hit "Take Five".  So just sit back and enjoy!  You're welcome Pete! (I think that's Pete on the drums)

Oh well, it will all be over before we know it.  What a difference a day makes.  Did I just say that????  Let's play that one for our newest member Sharon. It's one of her favorites.
Bill, we all hope things are going well for you.

Everyone . . . be careful driving and if you are shoveling take your time.  Temperatures are going up and that stuff will be gone before you know it!

Till next week

Well it's warming up a bit now so it might be a nice day after all.  Twenty minutes ago I told Joan we should have gone to Kansas City instead! She said KC is a great place and we might have run into the "Kansas City Star"  Now . . . . speaking of Kansas City Star (this is the transition)

As long as we're dreaming . .  how about "The Everly Brothers" All I have to Do is Dream.  Here is an interesting note about these guys.  Don and Phil Everly are both guitarists and use vocal harmony mostly based on parallel thirds. With this, each line can often stand on its own as a melody line. This is in contrast to classic harmony lines which, while working well alongside the melody, are not as melodic by themselves.  Thank you Wikipedia!
Well here we are in sunny Florida . . . Sun is shining but the warm temperature is "In Dreams".  And, speaking of Dreams lets listen to Roy Orbison's rendition.  (Is this setup just too crappy for words?)  . . . . Good!

Hope you're all listening with Bill.  Bill, I hope your enjoying the music!
