| Kyle, now 13, is officially taller than his grandma! Also pictured is Stephannie. Temperatures were on the cool and windy side hence the jackets. This was our first day at sea (7-10-17) on our way to Ketchikan. |  |
 | (7-11-1) Our first excursion was in Ketchikan, Alaska, where we skippered a custom-built motorized inflatable boat. We geared up with all the rainwear known to man for a 25 mile coastal expedition. We searched for bears, whales, seals and eagles through the Nichols Passage. The weather was cold and rainy, so it turned out to be an expensive disaster! Oh well, win some, lose some. We did see an eagle. |
