Look what I found!

Joan and I were walking around Sumpter Landing when I found this really cool Corvette.  I was taking pictures when the guy who owns the car showed up.  Oops! not a guy!  Funny how we think.  Anyway she was a cutie. Gave me all the specs . . . well . . . let her talk  Her name is Barbara Bartarf.

"It'’s a Z 51, 2015, 70,000 miles of velocity yellow with the Z 51 black trim package perfect center . . 650 horses (yes 650 horses!) Over 108 thousand list price.  We got all the warrantees plus a hundred thousand miles bumper-to-bumper including the tires. We got it polycoated. I’m not gonna tell you granddad’s price"
I'll tell you!

She paid $45,000 for it.  Not bad but if you do the math she got a 30,000 mile warranty considering the car already has 70,000 miles on it!  We could just call it a "lifetime warranty".

Here's a couple more pictures!

Never know what you're going to run into in The Villages.

By the way . . . John and Sharon Magnusson stopped by and spent a couple of days with us down here . . . Sorry they didn't get to see this car while they were here.  Sharon took a lot of pictures though.  Maybe we'll see them in an upcoming PICTURESQUE!

LARRY THE ALLIGATOR
GARNERS PLENTY OF ATTENTION IN BROWNWOOD!

"Brownwood" is one of the named subdivisions in "The Villages".  Joan and I have vacationed in Brownwood for the last two years.  This year we are in "Sumpter Landing".

The Villages is an interesting place! . . .  to say the least!

A RARE SNOWY DAY IN SEATTLE

    TOM WESTOVER

Ginny and I aren't looking for any sympathy from our pals in the Midwest who have just experienced some of the worst weather in perhaps a generation however, the Seattle area just got it's first snow of the season yesterday and this is what it looked like out our front door this morning.  The kids are sledding nearby by since the schools are closed including my college.   The scene is right out of a Currier and Ives picture (if you like that short of thing).  So today I going to test the ability of one of the Audi's Quattro all wheel drive system matched with it's Blizzak tires.  Wheeeeee!

Brer Fox

Skip and Lynn's first "New house" guest!

A visitor to our yard near Lincoln Park.   Curled up in the snow in a sunny spot and napped in just above zero temperature.
