After the great Coachmen days, I attended the University of Wisconsin and earned a degree in Economics in 1964. For the next 20 years, I was a salary/traveling man wandering (in hindsight, aimlessly) from one company to another (Ford, Pioneer and Kenwood) holding various “management” positions.

After realizing (I’m a slow learner) that I am not fit for the traditional organization (corporate or family life), I “dropped out” and went back to graduate school (Pepperdine in Malibu, CA) where I earned an Executive MBA in 1983.
I started a number of companies but the one that “stuck” was a small business consultancy. I also was teaching (as an adjunct) Economics at the university level where I met Ginny (Virginia Mayer, PhD). We have been married for 20 years (I got it right this time….I was no longer a jerk).
We recently moved to the Seattle area from Southern California where I resided since moving from good old Wisconsin in 1977.
I have one son Todd and two granddaughters who still live in the LA area. I no longer have a consultant practice but still “hold forth” in the classroom (real time and online) imparting “The wisdom of an Old Guy” to future generations. I plan on doing this until……..
