After High School and a stint at Milwaukee School of Engineering, I entered the heavy construction industry as a heavy equipment operator, then estimator, finally an owner!  Bridges, docks, dredging, structural steel and precast erecting, excavation and demolition.  That lasted for 55 years and ranged from Wisconsin to Upper Michigan and Illinois.  The marine work was (is) my favorite.

In ’65 I married Marie Dreger in Eagle River, WI.  We made our home in Green Bay and the surrounding area.  She blessed me with three great kids.  Girl, boy, girl.  The oldest two are in the Green Bay area and the youngest is in Minneapolis.  We have six wonderful grandchildren.

Retirement years are finding me doing all sorts of weird jobs, all with less and less responsibility: Inspector on municipal projects,  FedEx driver  now, mowing grass at the local golf course.  Marie is in charge of our social life and insuring the happiness of the grandkids.
