Good Morning Everyone!

Picture
It was obvious that only President Trump could put an end to this. (Mitch McConnell)
You probably guessed by now I'm referencing the impeachment hearings that happened over the weekend.  If you watched, you already know the outcome.  A sad, sad day indeed!

Emboldened by his acquittal, Trump, I'm sure, will see it as a green light to continue trying to take over the entire Republican party.

The former president welcomed his second impeachment acquittal, saying his movement “has only just begun.” In a lengthy statement, Trump thanked his attorneys and his defenders in the House and Senate, who he said, “stood proudly for the Constitution we all revere and for the sacred legal principles at the heart of our country.” And he slammed the trial as “yet another phase of the greatest witch hunt in the history of our country,” and He told his supporters that, “our historical, patriotic and beautiful movement to Make America Great Again has only just begun” and that he will have more to share with them in the months ahead.

Read the Club PUB to see just what his "beautiful movement" has been all about.  Next week I plan to introduce you to the most staunch supporters included in his "movement"!

I don't remember the song, "Oh, Julie," by the Crescendos. I see they were a one-hit wonder, charting #5. Anyhow, I noted that they copied Buddy Holly's "hiccup" in their singing. Remember, he became popular a year earlier, in 1957. Incidentally, I was in Lubbock (for the second time) in January, driving past Buddy Holly Drive (or something else?). I told you earlier that I visited his home, high school, gravesite, recording studio (in Clovis, NM), the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake--and the crash site. Big fan, I was--and am.
