A leap year is a year in which an extra day is added to the Gregorian calendar, which is used by most of the world. While an ordinary year has 365 days, a leap year has 366 days. The extra day, February 29, is added to the month of February. In an ordinary year, February has 28 days, but in a leap year, it has 29 days.
This year there is a 29th of February . . . so happy birthday early. If you are part of our graduating class you will be celebrating your 20th birthday. Sooo you are way younger than the rest of us. Finally! there is a reason to be happy. Instead of thinking about the birthday presents you didn't get . . . think about the fact that your were only 5 when you graduated from high school and at 20 will be the yougest person at our 60th class reunion. Good for you!!!
