Halloween night, while festive, poses significant safety risks, particularly from vehicle traffic. Children are more than twice as likely to be struck by a car on this evening than on any other day of the year. This danger is amplified by dark costumes that make pedestrians difficult to see and masks that can obstruct vision, combined with an increase in distracted or impaired drivers on the roads.

The Rally went very well - so -  I ask you this . . . who wants to look at a bunch of people sitting at a table having lunch in our Picturesque section?  
​Not Me, No Sir!  

OK, OK! Nobody was assigned to take pictures, and that's what we got pictures of!  
So shoot me!  

We did talk about a 2026 Summer Rally and came up with some excellent Ideas.  It's all good!  In the meantime, "I'm bushed,"  and I still need to unpack.

It's a Rally!

Hey, what's this? IT'S A YUGO. A BIT UNTRUSTWORTHY BUT REALLY, REALLY CHEAP! The Yugo was manufactured by the company Zastava Automobiles in Kragujevac, Serbia, which at the time was part of Yugoslavia. Imported from 1985 to 1992 by an entrepreneur named Malcolm Bricklin, who marketed them as the most affordable new car available.

​Our Rally is showing a really good turnout based on the short notice. It's gonna be fun.   ​First drink at the PUB is on the club! ​(Hey that rhymes)  ​ The YUGO first rolled off the line in 1978 in Serbia.  They came to the United States  in 1985 and sold for $3900. Worth every penny.  ​The picture is a pretty good representation of how they performed.

This will be the last rally in 2025 - Weather becomes an issue and it is difficult to get everyone together once the Holiday season starts.  Long term weather forcasts say we will be dry and in the low 60's for this event.  Tolerable at the least!
