There were only 10 of us at this rally, but we had a BLAST. I'll share some of the places we visited and our progress through the day.
As we all know, this is the jump-off point for all our rallies. The food and drinks are excellent and the folks there are wonderful.
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM Pet Skull Brewery - North 10th street.
This place is really fantastic! It has an authentic vintage atmosphere that was rustic in a warehouse sort of way. It was like being inside an old factory (without the dust). Also, they make their own beer. Two beers were enough for me. Sorry, but I couldn't keep up with Bob!
John & Del moved from a second-floor apartment to this wonderful one-floor duplex. It has a bright and cheerful atmosphere with a great view out the back. They love it! So do we!
Really nice atmosphere. A bit loud . . . but not unexpected . . . It's a Pizza joint. The pizza was great!
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM - Back to the Courthouse PUB for Grasshoppers.
The waitress said she melted chocolate chips and smeared the chocolate all over the inside of the glass. They usePremium Vanilla Ice Cream mixed with Cream DeMinthe and Cream deCoke. She topped it off with whipping cream and a maraschino cherry . . . Ever heard the phrase "to die for"? Very appropriate here!
Sharon, Bob, Joan, and I stayed at the Lighthouse Inn in Two Rivers. We all met for breakfast at 9:00 AM. John and Del joined us.
